In general, almost every laser tag party or event ends up with almost the same structure. Obviously we customize this for each customer, for each circumstance, and for each location, but in general we’d like to give you an overview of what you can expect from us when you hire us for your event. As you’ll see, the goal is to make everything as easy and effortless for you as possible. After you hire us it’s our job to make the event run smoothly, not yours. You can sit back and relax, play, take pictures, whatever.
Here’s how your laser tag party will work:
- We’re going to swing by the event location no later than roughly a week before the event. This is important so that we know that the area is playable and will not require anything like additional obstacles. While we can absolutely add walls, doors, etc. to an area to play in we must know in advance if we need to bring them. Alternately, if a site is unplayable for some reason (too wet from weather, too overgrown, thorns, etc.) then we’ll work with you to change the location, perhaps to another area on the same property. Our goal is to always make the smallest changes to ensure that everyone has a good time.
- We’re going to arrive early (~1-2 hours) on the day of the event. (We’ll also let you know in advance exactly when we expect to arrive.) Even if we don’t need to add walls to the field we want to get there early so that when your players are ready we’re ready, too. Also, this usually gives us enough time to handle anything unexpected, like locked gates/doors, lighting problems, trash from previous groups, etc.
- After we let you know we’re there we’re going to unload, set up the field, gear, etc. and get everything ready for your guests. We’ll also make sure that every player has a safety waiver. We’ll handle all of the setup ourselves.
- Once your guests are gathered we’ll give them all a quick safety briefing. It’s actually in the briefing that we start what we consider to be the personalized experience for each person.
- We’re going to run as many games as possible for the full time that you’ve asked for. Because we also tend to run specific games at the end of a session, it is extremely helpful if you let us know in advance if you need us to end early or exactly on time. We can always tightly limit the play time, but unless you tell us in advance we try to fill every bit of time, rather than simply calling it quits because we’re close to the end of what you and we agreed on. To put it another way, we err on the side of running long so you always get your full money’s worth. Your event is our chance to entertain your guests as thoroughly and for as long as possible with a personalized entertainment experience and we take that responsibility seriously.
- We are going to make an effort to take as many pictures as possible. As many pictures as possible are then going to be posted as soon as possible afterwards to our site so your guests can see and share them. Sometimes circumstances prevent us from taking as many pictures as we want or having too many pictures come out. We do our best to avoid such things but the pictures are added value. If you know that you absolutely want a picture of something or someone, feel free to bring your own camera. We will even help you get some of the best angles of play or pose your favorite player for the most heroic pictures.
- We will clean up, police the area we played in, and pack everything away. Again, our goal is to make sure that the entire event is as stress-free as possible for you. Only after we’re done and ready to leave will we try to square up any balance on the event.
- If you added on food to your event we will have that laid out on the timeline that you requested, whether that’s during play, before, or after.
- We’re more than happy to provide food, drinks, goody bags, or anything else that you want. If we can simplify your event planning and get things done for you then by all means we’re happy to do so.
