In no particular order, here are some of the main reasons to play laser tag with us and our Battlefield Live gear rather than somewhere else:
- Full-size, full weight guns ranging from machine pistols to assault rifles.
- No big, bulky vest: sensors are on the front and back of your head as well as on your gun, so anywhere you look or shoot you can be shot.
- Play indoors or outdoors, daytime or night. Why is laser tag normally played in a dark arena? Their low-tech sensors get blinded outside. Not ours.
- Extreme range and pinpoint precision: our shortest-range gun shoots 150′ on a pinpoint. Our longest shoots over 400′. Compare that to paintball and airsoft!
- Once you pay to play everything is covered. We don’t have any hidden costs. No fees for extra ammo, safety gear, per game, or anything else. Everything (other than showing up) is free. And you don’t even need safety gear thanks to our equipment.
- We’re cheaper. Once you calculate the cost of renting a gun, your entry ticket, extra ammo, etc. we usually end up costing less than half compared to paintball or airsoft.
- You’ll play more minutes per session with us. We’re going to count how many times you die, but you’ll almost always play the entire game with us. You won’t get shot or hit by a lucky stray round early on and spend the rest of the time sitting out. Also, we’ll start the next game as soon as you’re ready, so you won’t sit around waiting for someone else to finish playing or for some other group to get ready.
- No bruises or welts …at least, not from the guns. Our laser tag guns shoot only harmless infrared “bullets” just like your TV remote. It’s perfectly safe and won’t injure you. You may end up more tired from running (remember how far the guns shoot?) and you may trip or run into rocks and trees, but you’ll go home tired and happy, not injured and sore.
- Almost anyone can play. We’ve had folks missing limbs, in wheelchairs, etc. all play (and win!) We’ve had kids as young as 3 shooting their great-grandmothers. The laser tag guns literally fire at the speed of light, so it’s not about how fast you move, but how smart you move. Got mobility issues? Grab something that will let you snipe or ambush opponents. While we generally recommend that players are at least 9 years old the main requirement is that they’re going to be proficient enough to hold up the laser tag gun and chase after folks.
- We’ll run a smoother game where you’ll have more fun. Mike has been hired to show other laser tag operators how he does what he does and regularly gets calls and e-mail from laser tag companies even in other countries. No one is better at making sure that your group has more fun. Our guarantee is that when we leave you’re covered in sweat and smiles and we have never failed to deliver.
